Archers of Bingham / Archery GB is committed in ensuring that children, young people and adults at risk (vulnerable adults) enjoy archery in a safe environment in which they are protected from any form of poor practice or abuse.
We have had our own policy on Child Protection and related issues in place well before ArcheryGB. When they put in place a safeguarding policy, we endorsed and adopted their policy statements, whilst still having our own approach embedded in our club constitution. AGB's Policy is updated from time to time and is the platform we operate from. It is available on the AGB website.
All the club's coaches, regular helpers and our Child Protection Officer are DBS checked and aware of the policies we operate. Members are provided with details when they join the club but if in doubt speak to one of the coaches or any committee member and they will be happy to help out in whatever way is needed.
If anyone has any concerns, or want to report an incident or disclosure, then you can reach out to Richard Tomlinson, the club's Safeguarding Officer.
