Jim Johnson Agincourt Volley Trophy

In recognition for all the hard work, blood, sweat and tears that Jim Johnson has put in since the club was formed in 1982, we have commissioned a new trophy bearing Jim's name.  The trophy will be awarded at the annual club longbow tournament held in March / April for the winner of the Agincourt Volley (all archers shooting are called to the line by the field captain, given an order of Knock - where all archers knock their arrow, Draw - everyone draws together, Release - all archers release their arrows simultaneously.  This is repeated to twice more to complete a 3 arrow volley).  The closest to the gold wins the trophy.

The trophy was hand made and donated by Maurice Clarke of MGC Designs (www.mgcdesigns.co.uk).  Maurice is a club member and shoots a recure bow.
